Developed material validation
The practical lessons developed within the EdU_Saliva Project are currently being validated in the partner institutions. This validation process ensures their scientific accuracy, pedagogical quality, and applicability across different educational contexts, supporting the project’s objective of delivering inclusive and effective teaching resources in saliva science.
Participation in the 5th VET and Entrepreneurship Week
The EdU_Saliva Project was presented during the 5th Week of Vocational Education and Training and Entrepreneurship held at CIFP Politécnico de Murcia, from 1 to 5 December 2025. Within the framework of this event, which included exhibitions, events, workshops, and lectures, the project contributed to the promotion of entrepreneurship, educational innovation, and scientific dissemination, bringing saliva science closer to vocational education and the wider educational community.
Participation in MedNight
The EdU_Saliva Project was also presented at MedNight 2025, held in September 2025 in Murcia, Spain. This public outreach event provided an important opportunity to disseminate the project’s objectives and results to a wider audience, promoting awareness of saliva science and its relevance in education, research, and society.
1st EdU_Saliva congress
The 1st Congress of the EdU_Saliva Project – “International Congress on Saliva Science: Advancing Research, Education, and Innovation” was successfully held on 12 September 2025 at the University of Évora, Portugal. The event brought together educators, researchers, and professionals to share knowledge, discuss innovative teaching strategies, and explore current and future perspectives on saliva science in higher education. The congress fostered valuable scientific exchange and collaboration, contributing to the advancement of inclusive and digital educational resources in this field.
Participation in FIGAN

Kick-of-meeting
The kick-off meeting of the EdU-Saliva project took place on 18–19 December at the University of Murcia, with representatives from Poland, Ireland, Portugal, and Lithuania in attendance, as well as a local vocational training institution from Murcia.
The EdU-Saliva project aims to create saliva science teaching resources for implementation in the curricula of European higher education institutions.
During the meeting, working groups and responsibilities were established, and committee members were elected to ensure the project achieves its planned objectives.
